I have to confess…I love Christmas, and I love winters.
Iam in love with this season, the decorations, the snow, the twinkling lights, the nip in the air , the exuberance & joy one experiences during this season of peace & joy l.
The image I have of a perfect Christmas in my mind, is like a magical snow covered white wonderland.
Hence the name from the famous song, “Dreaming of a White Christmas.”
I have designed my cake based on these thoughts using silver glitter sugar on the lower tier to create an effect of branches covered in snow which glitter like icicles.
The top tier is a suspended tier using silver start streamers and decorated in a rustic look with whitewashed wood effect, leaving it rough with uneven edges and a swirl of snowflakes with a dried twig wreath in gum paste, and for he first time modelled a fondant Reindeer!
