“My Beloved – My Friend, A Purple Christmas Wedding’’
Cake I made for Cake Central Magazine, Christmas issue (Volume 6, issue 6)
My cake is inspired by the photo I was given: Purple, white and silver Christmas decorations.
In this cake I used many techniques: Textures, Oriental Stringwork (fron aquafaba icing), Lace, Molds, Cutters, Sugarflowers and some hand free cut decorations. To add the touch of Christmas to the wedding cake, I choose an beautiful Angel on the top tier, and adorned the Sugarflower spray with Silver hollies, berries and stars. I chose the text from the Bible: This is my Beloved, This is my Friend – Song of Solomon 5:16
