This cake was made for a special little boy who’s mum and dad had suffered tragedy before getting little Luke so in case this was the only 1st Birthday cake they ever ordered they went big! The party was actually only for 5 people but the cake was 12" tall and could probably have fed 40-50!
The body and head is all cake, the feet and ears are RKT and the arms and nose are fondant. I covered hm in white and then airbrushed him Ivory. The blocks are made of RKT and then covers in gumpaste.
It was also extremely heavy, but a pleasure to make.
