To celebrate Saint Nicholas Day, my Grandson’s german speaking preschool asked parents to bring a dessert from their homeland to the party. I saw this cake,on Pinterest and had no occasion to make it….until now! So I thought this would be great, if I could do justice to the original. It’s a 3 tier cake with bavarian cream & raspberry filling. The most time consuming part was baking & stenciling the houses! I,also,made gingerbread houses and candy trees for the main centerpiece table.
