Meet my minion who dressed up as Rudolph & then went out to play in the snow to make a snow angel.

I made this cake for our Chemistry Club Christmas potluck. It’s gingerbread cake with gingerbread icing. All the details are made from fondant & gumpaste & the snow is coarse sugar. I replaced the “G” on his overalls with an " A" for Acadia University.

I started planning this cake months ago when I saw a mold for a snow angel Santa & thought it was a cool idea to translate to cake. With minions being so universally popular I knew I wanted to incorporate one in to the design. I also wanted to do something a bit different so dressed him up in antlers & red nose to make him more festive.

He was a huge hit with all the students & nobody wanted to cut him. Hope you all like him too :-)
