These delightful little cakes were made using the 2.5" mini cake tins and the Mantilla Lace Sugar Veil Mat. The theme is as always, vintage. Made for a small wedding party.

They are lovely! Can I ask you, did you use sugarveil ‘icing’, or just the mat and fondant, please? The lace is so delicate!

I did actually make Sugar Veil icing. With this mat, it is very fine. With the ‘cheat’ method it’s harder to get the thinner texture and cut the shapes.
