This is my piece entitled “Blessings” It is my contribution to the wonderful collaboration spearheaded by Zawadi raising awareness and fundraising so that one day we will have a generation born without HIV

My piece was to show a mothers love for her baby and this mothers gratitude that she didn’t transfer her HIV to her baby.

The piece was made from Rice Krispie Treats and modelling chocolate, is approximately 10" tall.

A coalition of sugar artists have come together to support The Global Fund in its fight against HIV, TB, and Malaria. We are so close to stopping the transmission of HIV from mother to child that we may actually have a Generation born without HIV!! But we are not there yet.
