This collaboration is in support of The Global Fund in its fight against HIV, TB, and Malaria. We are so close to stopping the transmission of HIV from mother to child that we may actually have a Generation born without HIV!! But we are not there yet. Over 600 children are born EVERYDAY with HIV. Please support the 174 artists of the United Nations of Sugar Art by sharing our page and donating to The Global Fund.

This is my piece for the collaboration. Two traditionally royal iced fruit cakes to be raffled as a Christmas Cake. Everything hand modelled and piped. This is donated to Emma Wightman of Stockbridge Osteopathic Practice who is raising funds with this donation for Divinity Foundation International NGO. Emma asked specifically for the Maasai theme because of her humanitarian work in Kenya. The SHIELD represents protection and the SPEAR represents the fight against the HIV disease in pregnant women. I am so proud to have been part of this incredible collaboration and thank the brainchild Zawadi Parizek for inviting me and am so grateful to Rebekah Naomi Wilbur for writing an article about my piece in the magazine. What a humbling and moving experience this has been. Proceeds from the BeTeam collaboration go directly to the Global Fund.

I was born in Kenya .. this cake has been an emotional journey for me in many ways. I am so proud to be part of this incredible collaboration.
