The inspiration from my cake came from the tale of the Bear and the Hare story, Where Hare wakes his best friend out of his migration so that he doesn’t miss Christmas day.
The cake is covered in fondant with a wood grain effect paneling and frames a scene of a winter. On top is Bear and Hare modeled free hand using mexican paste. The acorns are also hand made using petal paste.
