Inspired by an original cake design from Veronica Arthur of With Love and Confection that she published here on CD 5 months ago, I recreated her masterpiece with a few little twists including adding a plaster texture to the tiers and real blooms. Veronica was kind enough to let me copy her design as a wedding cake for Mark and Angela. A very tall and heavy cake I built on site, each tier is double barrell enough to cater to over 150 guests – Vanilla Cream and Mississipi Chocolate Mud. There is a mixture of sugar and real flowers to counteract the heavy wood design of the venue. I hope it does justice to Veronica’s original cake x
