Good evening all, I recently took part in a group collaboration. The Lead admin sets a theme every couple of months and who ever wishes to take part produces something within that theme. The theme was Artistic Movements. I chose Surrealism – definition. A movement in art and literature that flourished in the early twentieth century. Surrealism aimed at expressing imaginative dreams and visions free from conscious rational control.

My piece- LOST BOAT

I have attached my inspiration picture and then my piece.

The picture in the frame is wafer paper the water fall is gumpaste sprayed blue then melted clear mint sweets poured down it.
The Ladies dress is rice paper (used for spring rolls). The water on the board is piping gel. All boards are airbrushed from white. The boat is origami made from wafer paper.
