I was thrilled when earlier this year I was invited to be one of the sugarcraft artists involved in the “Rocky Horror Sugar Show” collaboration for Cake International 2015 (Birmingham NEC) – 40 sugarcrafters from across the UK and beyond all creating pieces inspired by the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show in celebration of the film’s 40th anniversary.

As I like the challenge of making buildings/pieces inspired by architecture, I elected to make the chapel in the wedding scene at the start of the film, together with the “American Gothic” inspired figures who stand outside the church door during the “Dammit, Janet” musical number.

The finished piece was approx 28 inches tall (pic of me with my chapel for scale!).
