I love the taste, smell and deep colour tones of figs so much that I had to make a fig cake…and it’s certainly not just figs. This recipe has all kinds of nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, pecans, cashews) and other dried fruit (figs, apricot, prunes, raisins), and is covered with a soft cheese cream frosting, whole walnuts, fresh figs and dripping honey.
