This was my entry for cake international at Birmingham, its the first time I have entered and has been a great experience. The cake is based on a book I have been reading with my kids. Iorek Byrnison is a panserbjørn (armoured bear) and the king of Svalbard from the book series His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman.
