This year my piece is a mixture of two cultures. I also wanted to try my hands on mini carving. So baked enough cake to make the square and a tiny 2,5cm cake, chocopraliné Catrina head covered with modeling chocolate. The whole cake has been covered with a mirror ganache and gold colors to convey this asian touch. Wheareas the Catrina itself has been inspired by two main images i have picked from the pinterest one of a tatoo artist: Ben of Ink Studios and another one whose author’s name unfortunately i do not know.
