This cake is inspired by the Victorian Penny-farthing bike that is famous for many things one of which is that it had no brakes – oh dear, look what happened to this poor gentleman one frosty Halloween evening!!!!!! Bwahahahaha!!

All hand crafted, the middle tier is covered in fondant, overlayed with wafer paper which was painted black and then highlighted with edible gold paint.
