A cake presented to the Central New York cake decorating Contest back in 2010. It made Best of Show. The competition that year was about nursery rhymes, I was 8 mos. pregnant at that time, and this cute baby crib was my best approach. The cake is covered with fondant and had a smocked side. The crib is made out of pastillage. The figures and flowers are a combination of fondant and gum paste.
