One of my first 5 cakes… To me it looks perfect and how it turned out with the color combination, and design accents. It is so simple, because I really didn’t plan for it to look like this.
When I was new into cake decorating, I don’t really visualize my cake design at first… Until I mess several ones and lost precious time and days doing tweaks and “edits” on the cakes.

So plan ahead with the design, and freestyle some minor details at the end.

This is one lucky shot, finished without careful planning and visualization. :)
