well where do I start ! lots of details on this special cake for two gorgeous sisters celebrating their 40th Birthday together.Two individual two tiered cakes , one a gluten free victoria sponge cake with jam and vanilla buttercream filling the other a devils chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling, salted caramel sauce and salted caramel buttercream. Yum Yum x
the items are some memories and moments from their lives so far which makes it a very personal cake. all handmade in gum paste and fondant with some edible imaging.
I love the pink and gold together and wanted to make it girly and glamorous , I think the cake lace works really well to bring it all together and I finished it with some sugar roses and ivy.
