A birthday cake for a couple who are celebrating their 60th, commissioned by their son and daughter-in-law. The figurines are based on 2 music videos that the couple produced for their sons’ weddings – a rap and a duet. I used chalkboard writing & ruffles for a glamourous vintage feel, and ‘The best is yet to come’ (a jazz oldie by SInatra) is perfect for this cool and groovy couple.
