This is my piece for the Roald Dahl Collaboration – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Hello My name is Tracie Callum from SpecialT Cakes in Melbourne Australia. I am giving Credit to my son (11yo) Aj Callum for helping with all the Candy Lollies and putting his ideas out there. x
This collaboration is to celebrate Roald Dahl’s Birthday which is on the 13th of September,the story was inspired by Roald Dahl’s experience of chocolate companies during his schooldays, and wrote this book in 1964.
My piece is on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a child i loved reading the book and watching the movies which my children have also. Its based on the chocolate river, gumbear trees, the boat and the famous Oompa Loompa’s. We all loved there song!!

Roald Dahl Day Collaboration! It would have been his birthday and in honour of such an occasion 20 cake friends came together to create characters and scenes from the books.
