Happy Birthday Grumpy Grumpa! This was for my dad’s belated birthday party today. Since the day my son was born (the first grandkid from our clan) we have all loving called him Grumpa…I know, I know, soo wrong…but it fits perfectly with our family’s sense of humor. It’s half vanilla cake with raspberry jam and buttercream filling, and half chocolate cake with Swiss meringue buttercream filling. It’s all covered with chocolate ganache and then modeling chocolate. The Grumpy is all hand cut from black, grey and white modeling chocolate.
