4 tiered cake – top tier fruit, then tangy lemon, red velvet and chocolate truffle at the bottom. The bride requesed some white birds flying and tying a ribbon above the cake (a bit like Cinderella), with the JM monogram and the rest of the cake decorated with lace and sugar roses. The colour scheme was pale duck egg blue and a coral/peach.
The birds are made of poly balls & eggs covered with flower paste, and supported with flower wires. Ribbon is made from flower paste and a bit is stuck, with edible glue, to the wires, to add extra support for transportation.
