We present you a wedding cake on the vintage birdy theme. A creation with fresh colors (coral and green mint) which took place in the center of the candy bar of the newlyweds.

We began with the bottom tier where are represented the origamis of cranes, to match with the general decoration. We represent them by stacking layers of sugar paste. Each of them is surmounted by an animal of the family, compound of a black cat, another red cat and a black & white French bulldog. Small hearts, also feigned in origamis, were strewed on this whole tier to illustrate all love which has the couple for their animals family.

The middle tier, voluntarily sober, was decorated with two-colored chevrons which, in spite of the visible simplicity of this type of decoration, were a real headache to stick in a regular and clean way.

The green mint first tier, possesses a single central element, but how much important: the “initials” of the couple. With the airbrush, we painted an ampersand coral making the link between these “initials” which finally have proved to be the diminutives of both first names. We hand cut these letters and we can say that were the finest that we never had to realize. A real nameless “pleasure”:) !!!

For the topper of this creation, the bridegrooms wished to be represented by two personalized birds. For madam, a bouquet of roses in hands and a characteristic bandana on the head and for sir, mint green straps and bow tie and a banana for the hairstyle, for a volunteer vintage style. Small flags waferpaper stamped LOVE, come to bring the final touch. Finally, vuvuzela roses and succulent plant, were placed on the whole composition to raise the visual wealth, without betraying the sobriety demanded for this creation.

The return of the newlyweds concerning our work was warm to us in the heart and we were very proud to have participated to it. We wish them a lot of years of happiness:)
