First time doing a proper handbag, and I KNOW what I can improve on next time, and maybe not pick the ostrich texture, ha! maybe a croc print might be easier…. ;)
Cake is carved, chocolate filled with brazilian brigadeiro, covered in ganache and sugarpaste. All edible bar the part inside the handles.
After wanting to chuck it out the window, I managed to like it a bit more once the details were on there…. I made a lily as it’s the birthday girl’s favourite flower, and put two edible pictures of her granddaughters in little gumpaste frames.
Board was airbrushed.
