Happy mother´s day cake

This was my first try to make a buttercream cake. And it was horrible!

NEVER mix all the supplies together until they´re not the same temperature. It took me nearly two hours to save the cream – but after this fight the cream was soooo delicious :)

It was a raspberry buttercream ruffle cake (I used my pastry bag with a metal tip)! And I made jelly out of berries. The decor: the butterflies were out of wafer paper and the roses were edible!

It looks gorgeous, you would never know you had trouble with the buttercream. At least you learned a lesson for next time! :-)
