This is one of my favourite cakes to date!! Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and fondant to look like bark. The dusting took 2 hours to achieve – an airbrush would have been quicker but wanted the dust effect on this one! The little bird house was made with modelling paste and covered with wafer paper and painted. Little flowers added and of course the owl!! I loved making this and it was hard seeing it being cut on this occasion!!!
