I made this cake for my Auntie Midge who turned 80 at the weekend. She s called Midge because she small, rather like me hehe. I love the violet colour against the gold cake lace and delicate colour of the flowers. Handpainted details around the cake. Vanilla sponge with white chocolate ganache.
