Orchid Cake

This cake was quite tall, the photos don’t do it justice. The styrofoam blocks covered in black gave the cake extra height. When doing this I suggest you use 1/2" thick cake boards to avoid having cake corners sag from the weight.

Your design is beautiful. I love the ombre effect you have in the pink ribbon going up the sides of the black and the depth of colour in your orchids is fantastic.
