About 8 years ago silicone moulds to make seashells were hard to come by so I made these by hand. This was one of the first wedding cakes I ever made. The shells are made with gumpaste and painted with a diluted chocolate sauce (I didn’t know any better back then). The photos were taken by me with an iPhone 3GS while sitting in the hatch back of an old Mazda Protégé using only the available light. To this day I am still most proud of this cake.
