They do say there’s more than one way to skin a cat (although I’m not sure I’d want to know why anyone would want to?) and it would appear there’s also more than one way to make a Minecraft cake. Admittedly this one is still pretty involved (lots of cutting out of squares and such) but nowhere near as mammoth a task as my last one. The recipient decided he’d like a sword topper but he’d like it done in the same colours as his ‘skin’. Thankfully I have two nephews who spent the best part of two years building Minecraft structures and blowing them up (apparently that’s really fun?!) so I knew what he meant. (Incidentally, I have to give credit to Violet’s cakes for instructions on how to make the sword topper. I wouldn’t have had a clue where to start without her tutorial) 😃 xx
Great cake! And glad to hear it was less involved than last time!
Thanks Sawsen. xx
Thanks for the shout out and glad you found the little list of info helpful =D. One day I may have to redo it with actual photos lol. Great cake btw and I do love that it is totally unique and different! =D
