I was asked to make a 40th wdding anniversary cake for a lovely couple by their daughter. I wasn’t given a brief, only that it had to be like a wedding cake. The said couple had never had a wedding cake or a wedding dress or any photos. I asked for a recent picture which I made into a flower pasteframe for the top. The last who recieved the cake was overwhelmed and said cake had made her anniversary. It may have been a small cake, but it had real sentimental, emotional impact. They have thanked me so many times for helping them cry happy tears and have a wedding cake finally.
