Only my second carved cake, air brushed dark green. For a Cricket fan who wears a selection of large rimmed hats, from his work mates. The lettering is run out Royal Icing and painted with dust colours. The hat rim and ribbon is modelling paste ( looking now I could have smoothed the rim better !!) The cricket ball is pastillage, I moulded it into a craft bauble Christmas decoration, the sort you fill with tinsel and hang on the tree, once dried I air brushed it red, the lettering is hand painted with Royal Gold dust colour.
