My first foray into hand painting fondant, flowers & cake lace.
I’m no painter by any stretch of the imagination, but my Mum was super talented before losing her eye sight and I’m hopeful that the fact that we share the same DNA might mean there is some sparkle of talent in me……___so far I’m still looking, I’ll let you know!

I do love how this baby cake came out though. Those chubby little arms and the wide excited mouth is always a fond memory and one that most mothers have seen at some stage. The lace was so much fun to play with!.
