I loved making this cake, when my customer asked for a diamond anniversary cake I thought “oh it’s going to be the norm” but no. He asked me to do his nan on her Mobility scooter stuck in the mud as she has before, and his grandad carrying her shopping bags, so I suggested the trailer on the back with him covered in her shopping bags to give people a giggle.

I have just sent him the picture and it has made him cry with joy. Reactions like that make me feel good, and more motivation to carry on with my small business.
