Gravity and I became friends when making this cake. It is made from a picture of a similar cake I found on Pinterest. I’m not sure of the original designer. All three layers are cake- the treasure chest, the skull and the hat. The skull was made using Wilton’s 3D pan. I carved the treasure chest and hat. The coins are chocolate that I made using a mold. I painted the gold using luster dust mixed with vodka. There are three wooden dowels running the entire cake and also dowels separating each layer.
