For a sweet little boy who is ALLLL about the Transformers. So am I, so this was fun, but took WAAAAAYYYYY longer than I dreamed it would! Bumblebee’s face & I got into some scuffles a few times! Haha! When my client came to pick it up, her son was dead asleep in the back seat. She woke him up—-he was scared & didn’t know where he was—-& told him that I was the lady who made his cake & asked if he wanted to see it. He said yes, so she got him out of his car seat & he came around to the back of the SUV. His face transformed! His eyes got real big, & he went from sleepy & scared to huge smiles, laughter & jumping around! I don’t get to see many of the reactions to my cakes, so this one was special!

He wanted vanilla cake with strawberry filling on one layer & chocolate cake with banana filling on the other. So I caramelized bananas in butter & brown sugar, & blended them with buttercream & some banana cream pudding—-OMG! SOOOOOO good! That’s a new one that’s definitely going on the menu now! The decor is mostly modeling chocolate, & painted with the awesome Rolkem metallics, which are 100% edible.
