Little owl cake I made my mom for her birthday. Owls seem to be very on trend right now but she’s always liked them so I finally made her one.
I used a PME veined rose leaf plunger cutter to make the “feathers” for the wings & tail & really liked how it looked.
The cake is cocoa banana cake (the recipe she always used for our birthday cakes growing up & still to this day) with chocolate buttercream.
