This Cake i made for a Trational African wedding . it was scaring when i first started on the cake but to my surprise everything went smoothly and surprisingly easy. the masks are made from pastelage and painted with edible gel colours . the Traditional “Clay Pot” is made of cake and no carving was needed as i used one of my oval stainless steel bowls to bake the cakes cake . the only non Edible item on the cake are the Porcupine quills which are Kebab sticks painted with edible gel . it was a lot of fun creating this cake for an Adorable couple !
