This is a baby shower cake with a Greek theme – I made all the decorations with gumpaste. I had to do research on the Greek columns, which I modified a little to make them look more ornate! The baby’s name will be Aphrodite, so I thought it was appropriate to put a carving of the Greek Godess Aphrodite as the center piece of the cake. Customer requested that all decoration had to be white, gold and only a hint of red – I hope they like it – I’m delivering it tomorrow.

This is a vanilla cake with a vanilla buttercream frosting.
