This was great fun to make. I showed my Mum the fruit cake tier, and she said “I don’t understand, what are you going to do with it”……………….result!
The “greaseproof paper” is wafer paper, and the squires kitchen qfc silver was perfect for the tin colour, with a little skintone and nutkin brown to provide the rust.
I admit that it did take a little while to make all the little raisins, but it was worth it to make my Mum think it was a real fruit cake :D
The green “board” got damaged during photogrpahy as they thought I had displayed the cake on a cake workboard and just picked it up lol
The figures are a little old fashioned now, but it was a few years ago :D
Oh my word! So many amazing cakes in the same place at once!
Love it!! That tin is so realistic with its ‘greaseproof’ lining! :-D
