This is my Birthday Cake.
It’s been a really busy and stressful last couple weeks and so I was almost going to not make a cake for myself.
But my husband insisted – "You must make a cake no matter how simple. You do it for all of us in the family even though you are busy !
If you don’t you will give the kids the wrong impression that your birthday is not as important as theirs.
I think he is so right..!
As women and mothers we often neglect ourselves which makes others around us do the same unconsciously!!
This is just my thoughts – not necessarily right or wrong.
