My inspiration pictures were so beautiful for this wonderful collaboration but the float and cockatoo just captured my heart from the beginning. As a born and bred Aussie now living in the USA one thing I miss the most are the gorgeous sounds of my home country and the birds are a big part of that. These magnificent birds used to spend every morning in the trees in front of my home so I could not resist making them in sugar. I used many of the other colors and aspects from the floats surroundings to help bring my piece to life. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Oh yes!!! This is simply awesome Sharon!! The vibrancy and feel of carnivale is top drawer… Love this so much… Your cockatoo is perfect… We used to have one that could talk when the kids were small, called Georgie :)
