The cake was covered in a ganache shell, then fondant. The silouettes were hand cut out of black gum paste. The drum was a 4" Styrofoam dummy covered in gum paste, then painted with silver luster dust. An edible image was used to put the Beatles logo and drum logo onto the drum. The record albums were made with gum paste, then an edible marker was used to write the album Titles onto them.
