I made this Portal wedding cake for a gamer, I had no idea what Portal was, so did some research to make sure it was accurate. The little bride and groom are modelling chocolate, cake is covered in fondant and airbrushed metallic silver. I wanted to make sure I included the portal holes with the correct color to which was to go in and which goes out. I made sure the groom was going in, so the bride could pull him through the bottom hole. The Love Cube is made from foam covered in fondant and modelling chocolate. All of my cakes are made from scratch, top tier was a Roasted Vanilla Bean with Salted Caramel Meringue Buttercream and bottom is double Dark chocolate with Roasted Vanilla Bean Meringue Buttercream and iced in Dark Chocolate Ganache.
