This special cake was made for a gentleman’s 60th birthday. Each of the elements on the cake – the golf cart, golf bag, golf clubs, golf balls and tees – were hand-crafted from fondant. The argyle design was meticulously hand cut with each diamond individually hand-placed on the bottom tier. The top tier is elevated by the golf balls atop their respective tees. I have included a photo of the concept sketch beside the finished cake.
