…I saw this great Youtube video of a “cake purse”…and still just learning to work with Fondant (I finished the Wilton Course 3 – Fondant & Gum Paste)…I made this cake and the purse handle is made from fondant.

I dyed the fondant with Wilton black food coloring and then used the Silver Color mist…with some silver petal dust… My handle was too long (I wasn’t working from a template)…so I just punched it and it fit…who knew !

I recommend this as a 1st cake…it’s so easy and Rosettes cover a multitude of sins…the cake is actually 4 – 4 inch rounds…I wanted to do something different…
