This cake is a totally edible copy of a Villa owned by a wealthy businessman. I really loved making this cake: I felt a bit like Beetlejuice leaving footprints everywhere in his garden and on the terrace ;-)! This then happened to me, first time ever: the owner loved the cake so much that all of his friends, gathered for a big Chrismtas party, had no chance to have a slice, they just could look at it. I was speechless when I received the phone call enquiring about some technique to dry the cake out in order to save it…Did it ever happen to you before?
