This cake was my first wedding cake made for mine and my husbands wedding in June 2013. It was a joint effort with my 11 year old (at the time) step daughter Demi-Leigh, she mixed and baked the bottom tier and made the 4 roses on the top tier (toppers were bought ones – as wasn’t confident at the time to make them myself). There are also accents from my parents wedding cake – horse shoe and material flowers. Quilting was also a first for me.
