A couple of weeks ago i received a message from a new client in regards to a christening cake for her daughter Grace.
I had free reign, but with a few requests for the cake to be either a rocking horse, teddy bears or butterfly themed and in pink and purple colours but to be kept simple at the same time.

I was determined to incorporate all 3 themes my client liked all into one! And this is what i come up with!!
I absolutely loved doing every single bit of this beautiful cake. My client was an emotional wreck when she seen it, and was told that she wasnt a very emotional person.

The feeling i got when she broke down, happy tears streaming down her face, makes up for every night/morning i go to bed at 3am, there are just not enough clients like these, that simply make what we do worth it!

The Cake itself is an 8" Double barrel in Napolitana, with chocolate, strawberry and white chocolate ganache filling layers.
